Both the Royal Stars (Senior & Intermediate Championship teams) and Green Stars (All Junior Championship teams) were picked by the Managers and or Mentors of the opposition teams after each game in the various Championships. They were asked to nominate the three best players from the opposition and forward to an All Star Committee. The votes were then counted and the top 20/21 Players were picked as either a Royal Star or a Green Star.

Early in 2018 there will be a game played between the Royal and Green Stars. Each of the players will be presented with a specially commissioned jersey on the night of the game. All proceeds of this game will go to a charity/charities to be decided on soon.

The Player with the most votes in each category was then deemed to be this year’s Player of the Championship in each group.

Along with all of the above this year’s Minors were presented with their Leinster Championship Medals by Leinster Council President Finbarr O’Driscoll. The victorious Intermediate team were also presented with the Leinster Intermediate Championship medals.
