All Ireland Club Quarter Finals

The 2016 All Ireland Club Championships have come to the business end of their seasons as the All Ireland Club Quarter Finals are set to take place. Newly crowned Leinster Junior Club Champions, St. Maur’s from Dublin will travel to Scotland where they must face the powerful Glasgow Gaels team who will be their hosts. In the Intermediate Quarter Final Parnell’s of London will welcome the Naomh Ciaran team that claimed their Leinster crown only a week ago.

The Leinster Senior club Championship will also be decided this weekend as the defending champions, Foxrock Cabinteely meet the challenge of Kildare champions, St. Laurence’s at 1:30pm on Sunday in Kinnegad. The winner of this match can look forward to a daunting All Ireland Club semi final versus Club powerhouses, Carnacon, and of course their talisman, Cora Staunton.

In Munster there is a double header in Mallow as the Senior and Intermediate Club Champions will both be crowned. Defending champions, Mourneabbey will take on the great Banner club who backboned the Clare team that played in Croke Park recently and Ballylanders will take on Abbeyside in the Intermediate Championship at 1:00pm.
