Is Your Club Struggling for Volunteers?

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association recently launched our ‘Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Toolbox’ which is available on our website by clicking HERE . The Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Toolbox is a support mechanism for all clubs, county boards and provinces. This tool box will provide our members with practical tools to recruit and retain volunteers in their organisations. All resources are downloadable materials from our website.

To ensure that clubs make full use of this toolbox we are now offering a ‘Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Workshop’ for counties to book to assist their clubs to bring this toolbox to life!

What does the Workshop entail?

  • 2 hour workshop for club members involved in attracting new volunteers and retaining existing volunteers
  • Will assist clubs with retention rates of volunteers
  • Areas include Volunteer Pre-Recruitment, Recruitment, Retention and Recognition & Review
  • Workshop will ensure the LGFA online Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Pack comes to life in your club and bring clarity on all aspects of this excellent resource!

Please note this workshop is not about training volunteers in their roles but about focusing on how to recruit and retain volunteers for your club

What do You Require to Organise this in Your County?

  • A number of interested clubs
    • Minimum attendance is 15 participants
  • A meeting room to host participants
  • Participants in clubs involved in Volunteer Management
