Jackies keep All-Ireland dream alive DUBLIN 2-14 DONEGAL 2-12 (After Extra Time) The Jackies pulled off a the great escape at Pearse Park on Saturday when Angie McNally scored a late injury-time goal to beat Donegal in their TG4 All-Ireland quarter-final and set up a meeting with Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final. After trailing at half-time, some inspired scores by player of the match Mary Nevin put Dublin ahead. Sheila Campbell, who had scored Donegal’s first half goal, scored the point to put the game into extra-time. Nevin hit two successive points in extra-time to give Dublin the lead again but Donegal battled back with scores by Maureen O’Donnell and Yvonne McMonagle appearing to earn the Ulster team victory before McNally’s late strike.
