John West Féile Results

Congratulations to all host and visiting teams who took part in John West Féile Peil na n-Óg at the weekend, hosted by clubs in Kerry, West Limerick and North/West Cork.  It was the largest Féile to-date with over 2100 girls, 90 LGFA Teams taking part, with 212 games played over the three days. All teams also participated in traditional Feile Parades with a theme of “Friendship and Respect’ at nine centres throughout Kerry, Cork and Limerick,  Cahirciveen, Kenmare, Killarney,  Dingle, Tralee, Listowel, Newcastle West, Kanturk and Carrigaline on Saturday night.

The Division One Cup Final in Fitzgerald Stadium resulted in a draw after extra time with Westport (Mayo) 0-10 and Southern Gaels (Kerry) 2-4 with both teams sharing the Division 1 Cup.
