Kerry Ladies Gaelic Football weekly report U14’s and Minors outclass Clare A cold and bitter day for football was the last thing on these girls minds, as they ran rampant against Clare in both the U14A and Minor Munster Championship games played in St Senans pitch Listowel on Saturday last the 19th. The U14’s overcame Clare on a scoreline of 6-24 to 1-00. The Minors were expected to have a harder game from Clare, who had girls from their All Ireland winning U16’s squad of last year, but could not match Kerry. We outplayed them in every position on the field. The Minors outplayed them on a score of 5-18 to 1-06. We must say a big thank you to all at St Senans, as the pitch was in excellent condition as was their facilities to our girls. Thanking them for the food and hot soup that was available to the bravehearts who defied the elements on the day.
