Ladies Football nSenior Championship Finals

Tomorrow evening Doonbeg will be the venue for the Clare Ladies Gaelic Football Showpiece of the year when West Clare Gaels and Banner Ladies meet in the county senior championship final at 7.15p.m. West Clare Gaels who graduated from Intermediate in 2007 will be hoping to win their first senior championship but will have a difficult task against the Ennis based Banner side who are bidding for three in a row. It is a repeat of the 2008 final.

In the curtain raiser Liscannor will be warm favourites to overcome the challenge of Fergus Rovers and this match will commence at 5.45p.m.

A big crowd is expected at Doonbeg and patrons are asked to arrive in good time. Should the senior final end in a draw a replay will take place on Tuesday night at the same venue at 7.15p.m. as the winners are in Munster Club action the following Saturday.
