Ladies HEC All Stars Selected

The O’Connor Cup finals took place in Tralee last month with UCD coming through as the winners despite facing the might of defending champions UL in the final. There was a measure of consolation for UL who saw their Lynch Cup team claim the title after an impressive performance versus DIT. It was a successful weekend also for St. Pat’s Drumcondra who managed to overcome MICL and come away with the Giles Cup title.

The best 15 players from the Ladies HEC third level competition have now been announced as part of the Ladies HEC All Star selection. O’Connor Cup champions, UCD, have 4 representatives on the selection. Defeated O’Connor Cup finalists, UL have 4 representatives although that rises to five with the addition of Laura Rogers who was player of the match in their Lynch Cup win. St. Pat’s are rewarded for their fine Giles Cup win with 2 All Stars as UCC and DCU receive one All Star each.
