Ladies HEC O'Connor Cup Weekend Fixtures Confirmed

The details for the Ladies HEC O’Connor Cup weekend have been confirmed with all the competing colleges now known for what it the blue riband competition in Ladies Third Level College Football.

The much anticipated O’Connor Cup semi finals will take place on the 20th of March with the first match throwing in at 12pm as UCC meet DCU in what will be a titanic struggle. The second semi final will be played at 3:30pm and will feature the tournament favourites and defending champions, University of Limerick side who will meet NUIGalway to decide who will contest the final on Saturday the 31st at 3:45pm.

In the Lynch Cup WIT will take on DIT in the first semi final at 11am on Friday with the winners going forward to meet the winners of the hosts match, CIT as they meet DCU’s second team.

The Giles Cup semi finals will pair IT Tralee with Trinity College Dublin with Trinity College Dublin at 11:30am followed at 3:00pm by the second semi final between Athlone IT and St. Patrick’s College.

The finals of the Lynch Cup (11:45am) and Giles Cup (1:45pm) will take take place on Saturday as will the final of the Donaghy Cup with the finalists being decided this week.
