Lenovo Skills Hubs Continue

The Lenovo Skills Hubs continue across the country in the coming weeks and this is an excellent opportunity for girls in your county and clubs. The Lenovo Skills Hub is a nationally co-ordinated Gaelic Games programme of skill development activities taking place in a positive playing environment, providing boys and girls aged 13 -15 with the opportunity to derive maximum enjoyment from their involvement in Gaelic Games with a view to

  • maximising participation
  • optimising playing standards
  • ensuring that players’ needs are catered for in a balanced and holistic way.

Inter county players will be actively involved in the day to day activities of the Skills Hub. The staff working on the programme are experienced qualified coaches. Along with Playing the Games and expert coaching, a section of each day will be used to show best practice in Lifestyle choices such as Nutrition, Fitness levels, Preparation for Games, Sun Smart, and general advice from the inter county players present.

This is an excellent opportunity for girls in your county to gain access to these expertise and we would encourage you to forward to all clubs and coaches in clubs of teams in this age group as well as all players aged 13-15 years.

Full information is available at http://lenovoskillshub.gaa.ie/ and it is essential for players to sign up through this link. Details for the remaining Hubs are below:
