LGFA confirm Facebook Live coverage of Lidl National League Division 1 clash between Galway and Dublin

THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is pleased to confirm that next Sunday’s (March 24) Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 Round 6 Fixture between Galway and Dublin will be streamed LIVE on the LGFA’s Facebook Page.

The clash from Moycullen (2.0) features two counties who have shown excellent form to date in 2019.

Tim Rabbitte’s Galway currently boast a 100 per cent record in the top flight, with five victories from five outings.

Champions Dublin, who lost their opening League fixture to Donegal, have since reeled off four successive wins.

Galway were the only team to achieve a competitive victory over Dublin in 2018, during the group stages of the Lidl NFL.

Dublin, however, beat the Westerners in both the 2018 Lidl NFL Division 1 semi-final and the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-final.

On Sunday, the MAC AV team will bring you all of the action LIVE from Moycullen, with commentary provided by Jerome Quinn and former Galway star Emer Flaherty.

This will be the sixth Live Stream event of the season for the LGFA and follows on from Cork’s big victory over Donegal in Round 5.

The LGFA is streaming a game from each of the seven regulation rounds of the National League – along with a selected fixture or fixtures from the semi-finals.

The LGFA will also Live Stream the Lidl Post Primary Schools Senior A Final between Loreto, Clonmel (Tipperary) and Scoil Chríost Rí, Portlaoise (Laois), which will be played on Saturday, March 30.

You can watch Sunday’s game on the Ladies Gaelic Football Association’s Facebook Page by accessing the following link: https://www.facebook.com/LadiesGaelicFootball/ and coverage gets underway at 1.45pm.
