LGFA Talk Project launched in Belfast; Day 2 fixed for Sunday February 16 in Cookstown

WE were delighted to kick off our LGFA Talk Project in Belfast’s Balmoral Hotel last Sunday, February 9th.

The pilot clubs are as follows: Tír na nÓg (Armagh), Creggan Kickhams (Antrim), Lisnaskea (Fermanagh), Ballinascreen (Derry).

All clubs were welcomed to the venue by Ulster LGFA President, Eileen Jones, while this interactive day was delivered by Phil Glennon, Head of Operations at Northern Ireland Youth Forum.

Day 2 will take place next Sunday at the Glenavon Hotel in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.

Attendees from the club’s project teams will be working in their clubs to organise activities aimed at promoting positive mental health and awareness among teenage players.

You can follow the progress of the clubs from March 1 to April 12, as they roll out six weeks of activities.
