Lidl All Ireland Post Primary School’s Finals Launched

The Finals of the Lidl All Ireland Post Primary School’s Competitions were launched today in Croke Park. The finals will take place over the next two weeks in both the Senior and Junior grades with 3 finals taking place in each grade.

The Lidl Senior A All Ireland Post Primary Schools Final will see Coláiste Íosagain from Stillorgan in Dublin meet Scoil Mhuire Carrick On Suir in this much anticipated decider. The 2014 Champions from Dublin return to the Senior A final having won the Junior A final just last year and they will take the field with 3 sets of twins amongst their ranks. Scoil Mhuire will be backboned by the Murray triplets who featured for Waterford as they won the Intermediate All Ireland title in Croke Park last September. It all promises to be a fascinating encounter.

John the Baptist from Limerick will contest the Lidl Senior B All Ireland Final when they meet Holy Rosary College from Mountbellew in Galway. The Lidl Senior C PPS All Ireland Final will see Gallen from Ferbane come face to face with Scoil Phobal Sliabh Luachra from Kerry in the decider.

The Lidl Junior A All Ireland Final will mean a return to a final for Scoil Críost Rí Portlaoise who have been amongst the top performing schools in the country in recent years, they will meet the Ulster Champions, St. Ronan’s College Lurgan in what should be a super match.

Killorglin from Kerry and Presentation College Tuam will be the two school’s that will contest the Lidl All Ireland PPS Junior B title whilst Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra will hope to make it a double celebration as they also contest the Lidl Junior C All Ireland PPS Final with Mercy S.S Ballymahon providing the opposition.
