Lidl NFL Division 1 team news: 7 changes for Kerry as Kingdom aim to make it 4 from 4

TABLE-toppers Kerry have made seven changes in personnel for Saturday’s televised Lidl National League Division 1 clash with Dublin in Tralee.

The live TG4 fixture (5.15pm) is pencilled in for Austin Stack Park and hosts Kerry are the only side in the top flight with a 100 per cent record.

The Kingdom, who were promoted from Division 2 last year, have three wins from three and joint-managers Declan Quill and Darragh Long have shuffled their pack again.

In come Eilís Lynch, Ciara Murphy, Louise Galvin, Lorraine Scanlon, Niamh Ní Chonchúir, Caoimhe Evans and Hannah O’Donoghue for starts against the visiting Sky Blues, with Ciara O’Brien, Aoife Dillane, Ciara McCarthy, Emma Costello, Anna Galvin, Rachel Dwyer and Patrice Diggin dropping out of the starting line-up following victory over Donegal last time out.

Visitors Dublin, fresh from a win against Cork in their last outing, have the chance to strengthen their push for a final slot as they chase a third win from four outings.

Manager Mick Bohan has made four changes to the team that started at Páirc Uí Rinn, with goalkeeper Emer Ni Eafa, Tammy Quinn Corbally, Sinéad Wylde and Jodi Egan coming in for Abby Shiels, Rachel Brennan, Emma Deeley and Hannah Tyrrell.

Also on Saturday, champions Meath host Mayo at Páirc Tailteann (2pm).

The Royals are one of three teams, along with Cork and Waterford, on four points and a victory against Mayo would put Meath in a good position ahead of the final three rounds of fixtures.

Mayo, pointless along with Donegal, desperately need to get off the mark  and the visitors have made three changes to the team defeated by Waterford, as Lucy Wallace, Hannah Reape and Tara Needham come in for Ciara Needham, Fiona McHale and Sinead Walsh.

After a draw with Galway in their last outing, Meath have named an unchanged team.

There are also two Division 1 fixtures on Sunday, with Waterford making the trip to Letterkenny to face struggling Donegal (1pm), while Galway welcome Cork to Pearse Stadium for a 2pm start.

Waterford are unchanged following victory over Mayo, as Donegal boss Maxi Curran makes three changes to the starting team that lost out to Kerry.

Nicole McLaughlin, Katie Dowds and Jodie McFadden are handed starts, replacing Catherine Boyle, Shannon McGroddy and Roisin Rodgers.

Galway, second in the table on seven points behind Kerry, have made three changes to the team that started in the draw with Meath.

Nicola Ward, Eva Noone and Roisin Leonard are called into the starting line-up, with Shauna Brennan, Chloe Miskell and Lynsey Noone dropping out.

Cork manager Shane Ronayne has made four changes following defeat to Dublin in a high-scoring thriller, with Laura O’Mahony, Brid O’Sullivan, Abigail Ring and Abbie O’Mahony coming in for Aoife Healy, Hannah Looney, Libby Coppinger and Dara Kiely.
