Louth Ladies fourth consecutive win by Teresa Hanratty, Louth Ladies PRO

Louth 8-9 Cavan 0-8 Louth ladies

Captained by Orlaith Kirk saw off the challenge of Cavan yesterday to give them their fourth consecutive win in the Division 2A National League. The game was held in Hunterstown. Louth playing against the breeze in the first half had a score of 2-3 to Cavans five points at half time. Great combination play by the girls from Louth gave them a well deserved win. Excellent saves by goalie Janine Pepper and great play by Grace Lynch, Orlaith Kirk, Tara Lynch, Karen Raftery, Roisin Hanlon and Ann Marie Murphy saw the Louth team produce an excellent display of football. The Louth team now go on to play Cork this Sunday in a venue to be decided.

The Louth team would like to thank the Hunterstown club for the excellent pitch in which they played on Sunday. Also the underage players were out in Termonfeckin against Longford on Saturday. The U14’s had a good win and the U16’s captained by Ann-Marie Lynch drew against the Longford team.
