McKittrick Appointed Laois Manager

 

Tom McKitterick has been appointed as the new Laois Ladies Senior football manager, and replaces the outgoing Joe Higgins

 

McKitterick led Timahoe ladies to Laois and Leinster titles in 2009 and will be assisted by selector Gabriel Lawlor.

 

Lawlor, father of last year’s Laois captain Tracey, is a former selector to Mick O’Dwyer and the Laois Senior men’s team that won Leinster in 2003

 

Lawlor also managed Laois to their first All-Ireland Minor Football title in 1996 and the Leinster title earlier that Summer.

 

Meanwhile, the Under 16 management is John Buggy, Seamus Lawlor and Phil O’Keeffe. Declan Lawlor, Paul Daly and Sean Dunne will manage the under 14 side, while the Minor management is yet to be announced.
