McLaughlin Named Croke Park Manager of the Month

Paul McLoughlin was named as the Lidl Manager of the Month for March after leading the Garden

County to the summit of the Lidl NFL Division 4 table.

Wicklow, who had struggled in recent years immediately found a renewed sense of purpose under their new manager. Under Paul’s guidance they recorded a vital win over Louth in their final game in the first stage of the League to secure their passage through to the semi finals as table toppers.

Speaking about the award Paul McLoughlin said ‘This is great recognition for the hard work that is

happening on and off the pitch in Wicklow. The players have been fantastic since we took over so

this award is really recognition of what they have achieved this year to date.’

Wicklow were since knocked out of the NFL after a brilliant match against Limerick but there achievements in 2016 indicate that there is an interesting Summer ahead.
