Thanks to Ballincollig Community School for their hosting of our senior C final recently and to the students who made themselves available to officiate. At the start of the campaign many schools around the Province set out with high hopes and aspirations. A new year brings hopes and dreams and while many teams did not reach the promised land hopefully they enjoyed the games they played. Unfortunately their can only be one winner of each competition but not winning the prize should not be seen as failure. Great competitions and champions are made by the teams who pushed them so hard to get there, playing ladies Gaelic football is a good healthy exercise through our educational programme. Many thanks to all the schools, teachers and mentors who enabled us to run these competitions successfully. It takes time effort and finance to participate but this venture will prove very useful in helping to mould these young ladies as they begin their journey through adult life. Sponsorship plays a huge part in the running of these competitions and we gratefully acknowledge the role that Pat the Baker has played in all four Provinces. Having such a prestigious company on board gives the competition special significance and we thank them sincerely. Thanks to all Pat the Baker managers in the Province of Munster for your continued attendance and support at our games.
