Munster Post primary Junior C Final

John the Baptist, Community School, Hospital, Co. Limerick comprehensively defeated Sacred Heart Secondary School, Clonakilty, Co.Cork 5-09 to 1-05.The Limerick school took the game to Sacred Heart and had 1-01 on the scoreboard before their opponents realised this wasn’t going to be easy. Despite playing against a strong wind the treaty girls were always in control. 

Sacred Heart took all of 17 minutes before they opened their account with a point and on the half hour mark were only a point a drift 1-05 to 2-03. For Sacred Heart that was as good as it got as Hospital totally outplayed Sacred Heart in the second half and never allowed them to get a clear chance on goal and in the end scored 3-06 with out reply.

The final whistle brought scenes of joy and celebration for the limerick school.
