Munster Underage Results And Fixtures

LIMERICK 5-07 TIPPERARY 4-02

The second round game of the Munster u14 B championship was played at Cappamore on Saturday last and served up an entertaining game of football to the spectators. Limerick did very well at the weekend against Tipperary coming out with an 8 point win. Rebecca Delee opened the game with a point for limerick. Limerick led by a point at half time 1-4 to 2-0 with the Limerick goal scorer Orla O Donoghue. The Treaty girls played as a team and went to the front in the last quarter. Tipperary contributed to a very entertaining game and the Limerick scorers: Laura Lyons 2-00, Katie O’ Sullivan 1-01, Orla Moriarty 1-00, and sub Orla O’ Donoghue came 1-00 goal. The defence led by Emma Donnelly played very well ensuring a plentiful supply to the forwards.

CLARE 7-11 WATERFORD 0-07
Clare hosted Waterford in the second round of the Munster u14 B at Doorabarefield on Saturday last and had a comprehensive win. Orla Devitt opened the game after 2 minutes scoring 1 point; she did very well on the day scoring 2-2 in total. At half time Clare led the game well by 4-5 to 3 points. By full time the score was 7-11 to 7 points. Niki Kaiser was named player of the match at centre forward scoring 1-3. Aisling Corbett had a good game at centre field and centre back Shauna Harvey played well also.

 

Munster u16
The Munster u16 Championship throws in on Saturday March 28th with Limerick hosts to Waterford at Cappamore at 2pm and Richie O Connor Tipperary in charge of this game. While down at Moyvane Kerry welcome Clare u16 B All Ireland champions 2008. Kieran Creed Cork the man in the middle of this game with a 2pm start.
