Video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GojKIo3megE The awards will again honour ten individuals who are representative of the 400,000 people who volunteer their time and effort to sport in Ireland each year through their involvement with sports clubs and organisations throughout the country doing a multitude of tasks. The award winners will be selected by a committee and awards will be presented by the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport at a ceremony in Farmleigh in early 2011. We are encouraging every sports organisation to nominate as many individuals as possible. Nominations can be made online at www.volunteersinsport.ie This is a great opportunity to honour committed individuals within your own sport as well as highlighting the importance of volunteerism to the delivery of sport in Ireland. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday 30th November and therefore, we would ask that you submit your sports nominations just as soon as possible. Share this Article 0 0
