Noonan is 'The Croke Park' Player of the Month for July

The recipient of ‘The Croke Park’ Player of the Month award for July was named today as Saoirse Noonan who was one of the stars of Cork’s Minor All Ireland victory.

In a month that saw some truly outstanding individual performances it was the young full forward that shone brightest of all. The Douglas girl was immense throughout their win over Dublin as she accumulated a personal tally of 2-05 in the encounter and proved to be almost unmarkable throughout.

Arguably the most impressive thing about Noonan’s display is that the Nemo Rangers star is underage to play minor again next year. A gifted athlete, Saoirse is also and international soccer player at underage level and represents Cork City in the Women’s National League
