Now You Can Become a Coach Education Tutor!

Coach Education Tutors are amongst the most important people in our sport. They take on the responsibility of educating our coaches to enable them to go out train players at levels. Now is your chance to become one of these vital Tutors and play your part in helping to improve standards on and off the pitch

The LGFA are offering opportunity to become a Coach Education Tutor.  If interested please ensure you read the terms and conditions below and then complete and forward an Application Form by Tuesday 3^rd January. To take the first step to becoming a Coach Education Tutor please click HERE

1. All selected tutors will be required to pay €250 towards the total cost of the tutor training programme. This payment must be made in full prior to commencing the training programme. Payments can be made by cheque or directly into the LGFA account.  Please note, a Tutor will receive refund of  €250 upon completion of full training outlined below AND  delivery of TWO Fundamentals Coaching courses
2. Details in relation to the training are as follows:
   1. Days: Training will be delivered on a weekend basis over 5 Weekends. Please note, attendance at same is mandatory!
   2. Dates are as follows: 4th /5th Feb,  25th/26th Feb,  25th/26th Mar,  8th/9th Apr and 6th/7th May
   3. Times: The five weekends will run from Sat to Sun commencing at 9am to 6pm
   4. Venue: Dublin based venue
   5. Accommodation: Will be supplied and organised for the trainee tutor by LGFA.
   6. Who will be delivering the course: Liam Moggan of Coaching Ireland will be delivering the tutor training weekends
   7. What qualification will you receive: All participants will become Coaching Ireland Qualified Tutors. This is a European recognised qualification and is applicable to all sports.
   8. Trainee Tutors must observe a full delivery of the Fundamentals Coaching Course between week 3 and week 5.
   9. The trainee tutor will be put on the coaching tutor email list and will receive the coaching course schedule on a regular basis from the coaching officer. It would be the responsibility of the trainee tutor to inform the Coaching Officer of the course they would like to attend during the above timeframe
