The university operates a scheme for scholarships in Gaelic games for both male and female students who are registered full time students on full time courses. Applicants will be required to have demonstrated a high level of performance in one of the following codes; Hurling, Gaelic Football, Camogie or Ladies Football. The aim of our scholarship programme is to offer talented GAA athletes the opportunity to develop their sporting potential through the use of top class facilities, performance programmes and expertise combined with an excellent academic career. The NUI Maynooth GAA Scholarship is open to both current and prospective students and offer valuable support to students in their pursuit for sporting excellence. The NUIM GAA club offers a holistic approach to developing and progressing athletes as both individual and team player’s through a network of support services including a variety of top class facilities and fitness analyses systems.
