04 May 2018 Read: LGFA announce series of workshops on disciplinary procedures Share this Article 0 0 0 Shares! 0 Shares! OVER the past number of months the Management Committee of the LGFA, in conjunction with Leman Solicitors, have reviewed our rules and procedures in relation to complaints, objections, discipline, appeals and investigations. From this review, a number of concerns were identified in relation to right of fair process, multiple appeal avenues and onerous procedures for volunteers to implement. In an effort to address these concerns a new set of rules and procedures has been developed, which you can download here. Over the month of May, Leman Solicitors and members of Management will travel to each Province to deliver an information workshop on this document. These workshops will involve an explanation of the new procedures and will allow an opportunity to ask questions or to raise any observations in relation to them.
