Ready....Steady....Play at Dunboyne Ladies

Dunboyne Ladies G.F.C. hosted a very successful
Ready.. Steady.. Play! course on Saturday 28th April in
St. Peter’s Dunboyne GAA Club. The course was attended by
eleven new volunteers that will help to boost the work force
needed in what is a thriving club.

The Dunboyne Ladies GFC was reformed in 1996 under the auspices
of The Ladies Gaelic Football Association and originated
with a membership of 20 girls. There are now over 150 members
in the club, around 100 of which are under 16 so all new
volunteers are very welcome. The bold blue and red club
colours of the Dunboyne Ladies GFC are a force to reckoned
with within the county.

The new volunteers really enjoyed the course and were very
enthusiastic throughout.

They will now be involved in coaching and helping out with
the juvenile teams throughout the club.
