Register NOW for the LGFA's National Development Day 'Building Support' - Saturday February 29

It is that time of the year when we are contacting all County Development Officers and Development Committees in relation to the LGFA National Development Day for 2020 and what a year this could be women’s sport in this country.   

We recognise how important it is to start off the year on the right footing and therefore the LGFA have dedicated a workshop specific to your development role as part our annual Development Programme. 

On Saturday 29^th of February 2020, we are inviting all County Development Officers and their committees to attend our ‘National Development Day – Building Support’ in the National Indoor Arena on National Sports Campus in Abbotstown, Dublin commencing at 10.30 am for registration.

It will be an opportunity for all development officers to share ideas and seek invaluable information in order for everyone to carry out their role to the best of your ability for the year ahead. 

We are also delighted to have Mary O’Connor, CEO of the Federation of Irish Sport, as our guest speaker on the day and she has been a key figure in the establishment of the 20×20 Campaign and will share her thoughts on how we can engage with this over the coming months for the benefits of getting more people involved in our sport. Mary has worked in development for many years so it is brilliant to have her expertise available to us.
