Ronan Leonard Memorial Tournament Results

Truagh U16 ladies ran out eventual winners in
the first Ronan Leonard memorial blitz held last
weekend in Aghabog GFC. The Aghabog grounds was
a credit to Aghabog GFC and the blitz was run
off very well. Truagh had to fight off opposition
from Aghabog, Eire Og, Emyvale, and in the final
defeated their ever rivals, Donaghmoyne. Truagh
won the Ronan Leonard memorial cup for the first
year in it’s existence.

Ciara Connolly collected the Ronan Leonard Memorial
cup on behalf of the Truagh U16 team. Grainne
McKenna received her award for the player of the
tournament for the magnificent displays she gave
consistently throughout the day.
