Roscommon enjoy impressive win over Limerick

Roscommon produced a fantastic performance as they overcame Limerick with 13 points to spare in a powerful display in round 3 of the TESCO HomeGrown NFL Division 4. Laura Brudell was to the fore for the Connacht women as she accounted for 1-03 of the overall score.

Limerick were already under pressure from a lethal Roscommon attack when the turning point of the match happened 9 minutes into the second half. Limerick were awarded a penalty which they failed to convert. From the resultant play Roscommon earned a 45 which landed in the hands of Natalie McHugh who put a huge point over the bar and leave the gap at 7 points ending any hopes of a Limerick comeback.
