Rosscarbery celebrate their success

Rosscarbery
Ladies Football Club honoured their Junior and Minor
County Champions at a victory social held in the
Carrig Ross Hotel on Friday night. The club, founded
in 1998, has had its most successful year as was
reflected in the large gathering.

Liz Hayes, the outgoing chairperson, paid special
tribute to the players, club officers and club coach
, Pa O’Connor. Medals were presented to the victorious
teams by Fr Terry O’Brien, PRO Cork ladies Football
and to the club officers by Junior Captain Sarah
Coakley & Minor Captain, Laura McMahon.

Special tribute was also paid to the 4 O’Brien sisters
who represented Cork at u16 & Minor level .
