Sad Loss of Clare Clarke

It is with the deepest regret that we are informing you that our colleague and friend, Clare Clarke, has passed away peacefully at her home last night at the age of 35 after a brave battle with cancer. Clare has been an inspiration to us all and no words can describe how much she means to us.

Clare has been a loyal staff member of LGFA for the past 12 years and has displayed her bubbly and friendly personality to all our members right up until her final days. It is so fitting that on the day the CLIMB Programme training was completed it was also the day that she chose would be her final one with us and she left with the contentment that her dream had been fulfilled thanks to the unbelievable efforts of everyone. This will never be forgotten.

There will forever be a space missing in our hearts for our dearest friend Clare and we ask you to keep her family in your thoughts over the coming days – her husband Ciaran, daughters Katie and Ava and all her family. We have lost an angel on earth but God certainly has gained one in heaven.

Funeral arrangements will follow.

May she rest in peace.
