Scoil Muire agus Padraig from Swinford, Co Mayo ran riot over De La Salle, Carlow in the final of the Pat the Baker Post Primary School Junior C All Ireland final at Pairc Ciaran this afternoon.

 

The Mayo school dominated the first half with goals from Jessica Coleman, Shaunagh Gallagher and Niamh Casey which gave them a healthy lead at the interval as De La Salle failed to register on the scoreboard.

 

After the break, a second goal from player of the match Coleman increased the misery on the Carlow side. A final quarter goal blitz from De La Salle through Ella Meaney, Magaret Murphy and Steph Fitzgerald was not enough to claw back the result as Leanne Leneghan and substitute Shauna Roche also struck goals for Scoil Muire.
