Seanie McMahon is guest of honour at The Banner Ladies’
Gala Night.

 

Hurling immortal & doyen of all time great centre backs, Clare’s
own Seanie McMahon will tonight be guest of honour at the Banner
Ladies Football Club’s gala annual dinner & awards presentation
night at the West County Hotel, Ennis.

With over 220 guests expected, this is one of the highlight events
in the Ennis sporting social calendar. Always a great night for
everybody in attendance, including Mayor of Ennis Cllr. Joe Reidy,
proceedings will get underway at 7.30pm at the luxurious Lynch Group
flagship hotel.

Special presentations will be made on the night to members of the
Banner’s All-Ireland Féile winning team and also to the Banner
Club’s representatives on the Clare Suzuki national League &
Munster Junior Championship winning teams. All Banner club teams
who won Clare Championships in 2006 will also receive their medals.

The Banner Ladies Football Club Annual Yearbook will also be available
on the night & details of the forthcoming launch of the Banner
Ladies Club web-site will be announced. Club sponsors SuperMacs,
The Whelan Group & Greenacres will also be in attendance as
will Clare Board Chairman & County Development Officer James
Lafferty & Davy Browne.
