Shannon Gaels Notes 12.05.2015

Congratulations to the 6 Shannon Gaels representatives and the Roscommon Minors on capturing the Connacht title on Bank Holiday Monday.

 

Congratulations also, to Roscommon U16s on beating Leitrim. They play away to Galway in the next round on Wednesday evening. Best wishes to Caoimhe O’Dowd and Elaine McDermott.

 

The U12s secured a win against Tulsk on Thursday and play St Barry’s on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in Tarmonbarry.

 

Well done to the adult team who qualified for the league final on beating Castlerea on Saturday evening. The game ended 1-17 to 1-8.  Panel and scorers:

Fundraising for the year begins with the annual Poker Classic in Glancy’s Bar on Wednesday 20th May at 9.30pm. €25 to play and €5 buy back. A Raffle will be held and refreshments will be served on the night. All welcome. Cash for Clobber bags are now available for filling with any unwanted clothes, shoes, bedlinen, and more.
