11 February 2013 Sligo Notes 11.02.2013 Share this Article 0 0 0 Shares! 0 Shares! Round 2 of the national football league saw Sligo play Down at home on Sunday last. Another wet and windy day made conditions dreadful to play in. Sligo were forced to play a very defensive game as Down stamped their mark on the field very early on. Today was a day for goals and as Down were the stronger team and with more attempts on target they emerged victorious with a final score of 1.7 (Sligo) to 5.9 (Down). All club secretaries for 2013 are reminded to send on a full list of their club contact details to sligoladiespro@gmail.com as soon as possible.
