Sligo notes week ending 15.06.2014

Wednesday the 11th and Friday 13th June are the dates set for the U12 quarter finals 14 teams from around the county are competing at various levels.  Best of luck to all teams involved.

The U16 County Team is on the field again against Roscommon on the Tuesday 24th in Tubbercurry at 7pm.  Please support the team.

Too All SLIGO CLUBS both Ladies and GAA, Lenovo Skills Hub is arriving in Sligo with a great opportunity for girls and boys aged 13-15 to develop their skills.  The Sligo camp will be held in Kilcoyne Park Tubbercurry 23rd-26th June. This is a chance to get tips from Sligo players….. Roisin Colleary (Curry) will be Ladies Football leader of the camp along with Ross Donovan for the GAA.   The 4 days training cost €50 with a free jersey and a chance to win an Ipad. For details contact your clubs secretary.

A huge Congratulations is extended to Noelle Gormley (St Nathys) and Orla McGowan (Drumcliff/Rossesspoint) who were awarded Division 3 Team of the League 2014.  Its a great achievement and well done to the Players, their Clubs and County management over the years. .

Any Clubs wishing to take part in the Connacht Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others blitz on 12th July are asked to register before 13th June.  Contact your club secretaries for details.

The Connacht 7’s takes place in the Centre of Excellence, Ballyhaunis this Saturday 14th June.  Good luck to all the Sligo teams participating.
