Football
Cork
Ladies football yesterday announced that they
have signed a major sponsorship deal for the coming
season with Smart Telecom.

Telecommunications giant Smart Telecom was unveiled
as Corks new sponsor for 2005, giving the players
a huge boost ahead of this weekend’s National
League qauter-final appearance. The sponsorship
will take immediate effect and runs for 12 months,
during which time all intercounty teams – senior,
junior, minor, U16 and U14 will display the Smart
Telecom logo.

At the launch in The Woodford Bar Smart Telecom
Marketing Manager Rhona Bradshaw said the
sponsorship will work to raise the overall
profile of Smart Telecom in Cork in the coming
months.

“We are delighted to be associated with
Cork Ladies Football. The teams involved with
Cork Ladies Footballare young, dynamic and
energetic and therefore a perfect fit for
the Smart Telecom brand. Cork Ladies Football
has been very successful in recent years and
we look forward to developing a fantastic
partnership with all involved moving forward.
In addition, Cork is a very important market
for Smart Telecom. We have a significant number
of customers and staff in this area and we
feel that this sponsorship is a fantastic
way for us to support the local community.”

us.” “It is a dramatic boost for ourselves and
the fact that we’re both progressive and vibrant
brands means it will be a very strategic partnership.
In addition, the strong image that Smart Telecom
brings with it also enhances the overall image
of Cork Ladies football in general, which is just
fantastic for everyone involved.”
