Spotlight on 2nd and 3rd Division Suzuki League Quarter finals.

Sunday March 13th With Laois and Kerry safely through to the Final of Division 1 of the Suzuki National Ladies Football League, the spotlight falls this week-end on the Div 2 and Div 3 Quarter finals.

Cork and Louth have been the dominant teams in Divison 2 and both will be fancied to get through. Cork play Armagh at Mountmellick at 2pm and will be hoping to advance, they were surprisingly relegated last year after a playoff with Meath and will be hoping to bounce straight back up. Prediction Cork.

Louth on the other hand have been going great guns, they have a big strong physical team and their only loss so far was a narrow one to Cork, they play Leitrim at Strabannon near Ardee at 1pm and get the vote to advance.Prediction Louth

Cavan travel to Leixlip to play Kildare, the Lily Whites have promised much during the past few years and should prove too strong for Leitrim. Prediction Kildare.

In the 4th game there is a local derby between Sligo and Kildare, Sligo promoted last year have had an up and down season. Roscommon are seasoned campaigners with a Junior All-Ireland to their credit their experience should prove too strong and they get the vote to advance. Prediction Roscommon

Div 3

Also on the menu on Sunday are 3 Div 3 Quarter Finals. Derry will be strong favourites to defeat Wicklow at Strabannon. The two remaining games should be very close.

Limerick play Monaghan B at Casteldaly at 3pm and Limerick should advance.

Cork and Dublin 2nd strings, face each other at Mountmekllick at 3pm, with Cork given the vote to make it a double.
