St. Dominic's Notes

St. Dominic’s U8s & U10s played Clann na nGael away on Wednesday last, 23^rd July. The U10s also took part in a Blitz on Saturday 26^th July in Cam pitch as part of the Brideswell Pattern Festival. After playing 3 games, against St. Brigids, Clann na nGael and Padraig Pearses each girl was presented with a medal to mark the occasion. The U8s & U10s next games are this coming Friday at home against Roscommon Gaels. St. Dominic’s Beginners & Nursery Programme continues each Saturday morning at the pitch.

The U12s played their first game in the U12 Summer Series of games at home against Boyle on Sunday, 27^th July.  Their next game is this series is away to St. Brigids during the week commencing 4^th August.

The U14 continued training this week in preparation for the U14 Championship. Dominic’s first game in this competition is on Sunday 17^th August.

The Minors will play their opening game in the Championship on Tuesday 29^th July at home against St. Brigids.

Players and parents are reminded that from January 1^st 2014, all ladies football payers in age groups up to and including minor must wear a mouthguard during training and games.
