St. Dominic's Notes

St. Dominic’s Juniors continue to train. Their next fixture is the Championship Round 6 match at home against St. Croans – date to be confirmed.

The U14s play a challenge game at home against St. Brigids on Tuesday 9th September in preparation for their upcoming Championship Semi Final. After winning their 3 group stage matches the Dominic’s girls now play St. Faithleachs away on Saturday 20th September in the Semi. Best wishes to management and team in this fixture.

The Under 12 girls had their last training session for this season on Tuesday last, 2nd September.  A big thank you to the trainers – PJ, Breda & John, parents and all that helped out during the year.

St. Dominic’s U8s & U10s played their last game in their scheduled series of U8/U10 games against Clann na nGael away on Wednesday 3rd September. All players acquitted themselves very well, putting into practice the skills that they developed over the last number of months in training.

The Roscommon Ladies Football U13/U15 Development Series continues each Saturday morning in Strokestown. This is an excellently run series and is a great opportunity for the many St. Dominic’s girls taking part to further their Gaelic football talents.
