St Nathys Weekly Notes

St. Nathys are holding the “Ox Mountain Run/Walk” on Sunday the 2nd of September 2012 in Coolaney. There are 2 routes to choose from a 10k or a 6k. Proceeds from this event will go towards St. Nathys and Crumlin Childrens Hospital. Entry fee is €13.00. Full details and online registration is available from www.runireland.com. You can also register on the day or contact Louise on 0876356679 for all queries.  This is going to be our only fundraiser for 2012 therefore please make an effort and drum up some support for it, get your friends, work colleagues, families to come along and support our project and most importantly get some exercise on the day!!! The Championship games are in full swing with all teams out to compete for a victory.  The U16’s had a convincing win against CT Gaels in the first round of their championship on Wednesday last with a final score of 4-14 to 1-03.  The Minors and the U12’s are away to Calry/St. Josephs this week.  The Minors play on Thursday night at 7pm, while the U12’s play next Monday @ 7pm.  The seniors have a very important game this Sunday the 26th August against Drumcliff/Rossesspoint.   In order to remain competitive in the Championship competition it is a must win game.  In the league they were narrowly defeated in the very first game by Drumcliff and they girls will hope to turn that around having lost to Geevagh they need a win in this game.
