Senior: The 2104 league medals were presented to the senior ladies by David Brudell, assisted by Richard Glover & Pearse McGinley on Friday night. David thanked team sponsor Jason Hanly for his continued support of the team and wished new manager Martin McDermott well in this year’s campaign. The Senior ladies play St Brigids on Sunday at 11.30am in Strokestown. Minor: The club would like to thank Bridie Kavanagh, nee Shiel, who has donated a cup, in memory of her mother May Shiel, to be awarded to a minor player each year. PJ Kelly announced Aisling Hanley as the inaugural winner of this award and Declan Kavanagh made the presentation on behalf of his mother. Hampers: The winners of the Easter hampers were Monica Connellan, Rathinagh and Eoin Brady, Cloonslanor. U16: The U16 girls are scheduled to play St Marys on Sunday next. Congrats to U16 player Caitlin Flanagan & her team mates, overall winners in the county Student Enterprise Awards with their Farm Safety project. County: Well done to the Roscommon ladies on their win over Fermanagh on Sunday. Best of luck to Jill, Eleanor and the county Minors against Galway next Saturday.
