U16: Well done to the U16 girls who recorded their first win in the championship on Sunday last, they defeated St Ciarans in Fuerty. Senior: The Senior ladies play Eire Og on Sunday next in round two of the league. The game is in Strokestown at 12. Colleges: Good luck to Ellen Beirne in the finals of the third level colleges competition at the weekend. Ellen plays for TCD in the Div 2 Giles Cup competition. Social: The Senior ladies will be presented with their 2014 League medals at a social in Hanly’s Bar on Friday 27th March. The draw for the Easter hampers will take place on the night, lines on sale locally €2 each or 3 for €5, hampers are on display in the Post Office and in Hanlys Bar.
