The guest of honour Sean Kelly (former president of the GAA) had warm words for the Kerry county board and said it was great to see the promotion of ladies football back to where it belongs on the sport pages with their GAA counterparts. He encouraged the senior team to stick to the task for 2011 and success was around the corner. He encouraged more people to get involved with the ladies game and to always believe in what they were doing.
