TG4 Championship Fixtures, June 15/16: First provincial silverware of the season to be handed out

THE first provincial silverware of the season will be handed out in the 2019 TG4 Championships next weekend.

The Munster Intermediate and Senior Finals are down for decision on Sunday, while there are Final slots up for grabs in the Ulster Junior and Senior Championships, and the Leinster Intermediate Championship.

The action gets underway on Saturday, with an excellent double-header on the agenda in Killyclogher, Co. Tyrone.

First up, at 5pm, it’s the meeting of Antrim and Derry in the TG4 Ulster Junior semi-final, with the winners to play Fermanagh.

Following that, at 7pm, Cavan and holders Donegal will battle it out in the TG4 Ulster Senior semi-final, with a Final against Armagh on offer for the winners.

On Sunday, attention switches to the provinces of Leinster and Munster.

In Munster, it’s Finals Day as Clare and Tipperary clash in the Intermediate decider at 12pm in Cappamore, county Limerick.

Later in the evening, at 6.3opm, it’s the meeting of holders Cork and Waterford in the TG4 Senior Final, at Fraher Field in Dungarvan.

In Leinster, the Intermediate Final pairing will be decided as Kildare host Wexford at St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge and Meath entertain Wicklow at Páirc Tailteann, Navan.

Both of those semi-finals will get underway at 2pm.

Saturday, June 15th 

TG4 Ulster Junior Championship Semi-Final 

Antrim v Derry; Killyclogher, Tyrone, 5pm

TG4 Ulster Senior Championship Semi-Final 

Cavan v Donegal; Killyclogher, Tyrone, 7pm

Sunday, June 16th 

TG4 Munster Intermediate Championship Final

Clare v Tipperary; Cappamore GAA Grounds, Limerick, 12pm

TG4 Munster Senior Championship Final

Waterford v Cork; Fraher Field, Dungarvan, 6.30pm

TG4 Leinster Intermediate Championship – Semi-Finals

Kildare v Wexford; St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge, 2pm

Meath v Wicklow; Páirc Tailteann, Navan, 2pm
