TG4 Senior 1/4 Final Teams Named

There are two big games in Breffni Park tomorrow when the quarter finals of the TG4 Senior Championship take place. The first match gets underway at 4:15pm with the meeting of Galway and Tyrone.

Galway will be buoyed by the victory of their minors during the week but they have not had any competitive action since their Connacht Final victory over Mayo. Tyrone enjoyed a morale boosting victory over Clare last weekend and will be hoping to carry that form through to this weekend.

The second game gets underway at 6pm as Ulster Champions, Monaghan, take on Laois. Monaghan are many people’s favourites for the All Ireland but, like Galway, they have had a long lay off from competitive action. Laois finally got the better of Meath last time out at the third time of asking this season but they know that they will have to raise their game considerably to get the better of Monaghan.
