TIRNACH’S PARK CLONES SUNDAY 1ST JULY 2007 Clones will be the venue on Sunday next for the Ulster intermediate and senior finals. In the senior decider at 3-30pm holders Armagh meet Tyrone. These two sides know each other inside out and a close and exciting encounter is anticipated. Tyrone last won the title back in 2003 while last season the Orchard girls went all the way to the All Ireland final before losing to Cork. The intermediate final pairs neighbours Cavan and Fermanagh. These sides did meet earlier in the year in the league however that day is now a distant memory. This is the first time that an Ulster intermediate competition has been played and both sides will be anxious to claim the inaugural silverware. Throw in for the final is at 1-30pm. Ulster Council is offering a prize of £500 worth of training gear for the best kitted out club who attends the finals. Clubs are encouraged to attend in their club colours and U14’s will be admitted free. Further information on the finals days is available from the Ulster Administrator/Secreatry Mary Keegan at (0044) 7894859243 or maryshanroe@hotmail.com Share this Article 0 0
