Suzuki Ladies National Football League Previews Division 1 Previews – Sunday 24th February, 2007 Tyrone v Kerry Eskra; 12noon (E O’Hare) Kerry have gotten off to a flyer this season and their impressive demolition job of Mayo last time out has sent warning signals out across the country. Tyrone have only played one game so far but with Gemma Begley leading the line upfront the O’Neill County will be a real threat to the Kingdom Laois v Armagh Kileavy; 2pm (G McCrystal) This is a crucial game for both teams if they are to entertain any hope of reaching the semi-finals. Laois narrowly lost their opening fixture but are yet to face Tyrone, Kerry and Mayo. Armagh have one win from two games and have Tyrone and Mayo to come. Dublin v Galway Naomh Mearnog; 2pm (C Groome) The Dubs have gotten off to a solid start with draws against Kildare and Monaghan but the outcome of this weekend’s clash with Galway will give a clearer indication of how the newly promoted Division 2 champions are equipped to cope in the top flight. Galway were not to far off Cork in the recent match up so will be bullish about securing all three points this Sunday. Cork v Meath Mallow; 2pm (D Byrne) The Rebelettes are not yet firing on full cylinders and struggling Meath will hope that Cork operate the red machine on a half tank this weekend. Meath have lost their opening two fixtures and the 2006 finalists already look like relegation contenders. Cork should win this game in neutral.
