TIPPERARY U14 TEAM Best wishes to Tipperary Ladies Football Under 14 team who will compete against Longford in the Ladies Gaelic Football All Ireland Semi Final on Saturday, June 13th at 2.00pm in St. Rynaghs, Banagher, Offaly. PRIMARY SCHOOL COACHING/BLITZ This year the Tipperary Ladies Football County Board continued with their initiative to provide Primary School Coaching to Schools in conjunction with the clubs. Twelve weeks training was provided to the Primary School, the County Board was offering the first six weeks and the club would then provide the other six weeks. Training was given by Derry Peters, 2013 Tipperary Ladies Football Coach. Three clubs availed of this initiative with the schools in the area receiving the training as a result. Most schools have completed the training but one remains ongoing. The list of clubs are as follows: Arravale Rovers Club, Ardfinnan Club, Cappawhite Club. Thanks to the schools who welcomed Derry Peters and his coaching expertise. Well done to all the clubs for availing of this. As a follow on to this Tipperary Ladies Football will hold a Primary School Blitz on Friday, June 12th in Moyle Rovers GAA Club. Best wishes to all the schools who will compete in this blitz. UNDER 14 SKILLS COMPETITION Best wishes to Alice Tobin, Ardfinnan who will represent Tipperary in the All Ireland U14 Skills Challenge in Portlaoise on Saturday, June 13th. MUNSTER 7’s Two Tipperary clubs, Cappawhite and Moyle Rovers travelled to Mallow GAA Complex to participate in the Munster 7-a-side competition on Saturday last. Following a number of round games, the two clubs competed against each other in the Senior Shield Final with Cappawhite victorious on the day. KILMURRY IBRICKANE LADIES CLUB ALL IRELAND U16 CLUB 7’S This is the third annual All Ireland U16 Club 7’s and it will be held on Saturday, September 5th. The competition is limited to 32 Clubs, these will be chosen on a first come first basis. The closing date for completed entries is Monday, July 27th. She received her award at a special awards ceremony in Croke Park. HELL&BACK The Ladies Gaelic Football Association have combined forces with Hell&Back to organise an extra special event for anyone that also wants to raise money for Climb4Clare. On Saturday, September 12th you are invited to raise money for Climb4Clare in a dedicated Hell&Back event at the famous Kilruddery House & Gardens Course that is a gruelling but fun event that takes place over 7km with all the well-known obstacles.
