Armagh 0-11 Tyrone 1-9 A goal from former All Star Cathy Donnelly proved to be the crucial score as Tyrone defeated Armagh by a single point in the second TG4 Ulster senior championship semi final. Donnelly hit the first point of the game after just 3 minutes however Armagh responded with a couple of Sinead Mc Cleary points and another from Kelly Mallon. Scores from Mary Louise Mc Girr and Joline Donnelly tied the game at the quarter mark. Armagh then went in front for the first time thanks to points from Mags Mc Alinden and Caroline O Hanlon but the lead was short lived as Donnelly goaled in the 20th minute. In the remaining 10 minutes Tyrone outscored Armagh 3 points to one and went three ahead at the break 1-6 to 0-6. Early second half points from O Hanlon and Mc Alinden closed the gap to just a single point. The Donnelly sisters Cathy and Joline then pointed to leave three in it entering the last quarter. Armagh sub Siobhan Mackle and Tyrone captain Gemma Begley traded scores before O Hanlon closed the gap to a single point with a couple of nice scores.
